STEAM Sunday - The Science of Star Spangled Slime

The worlds of science and art collide at STEAM Sundays! Best for youth ages 5-12. Younger participants may need the assistance of family members or older siblings. Registration required. Let's get oooey, gooey, and celebrate America's 250th anniversary as we explore the science behind slime and mix our own festive star spangled slime! How does slime stay together? What makes it gooey but not sticky? Why does it ooze but doesn't feel like other liquids? Participants will get the chance to explore these questions as they mix their own batch of slime from basic household ingredients. It'll so much fun, you won't even know you're learning!
