Gaman Art Workshop: Create Your Own Bird Pin

    Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring the history of Gaman Art—art created by Japanese Americans during World War II incarceration as a way to express resilience, creativity, and hope. This event is free and all materials are provided. No registration is required. This event is part of the One Book, One Coast program. #sjploboc Participants will design and create their own bird pins using shrink plastic, transforming simple materials into meaningful works of art. This program invites participants to reflect on identity, storytelling, and the power of creativity in times of hardship. This program replaces the weekly Educational Park Art Club .
