Cosmic Minds: An Intro to the Stars

Union City Library support local teens on their leadership journey by providing space for them to plan, market, facilitate, share their skills by leading their own library program under the supervisions of teen librarians. This program is led by local high school student, Russell, who aims to inspire curiosity in science by making astrophysics concepts understandable to kids. This introductory, lecture style presentation explores the solar system and how scientists study the universe. The topics covered are planets, solar system, stars, and the moon and its moon phases.
