University of California Museum of Paleontology

The UC Berkeley Museum of Paleontology is primarily a research museum, but it offers free public exhibits, including a magnificent Tyrannosaurus rex. Kids can explore fossil displays and learn about ancient life forms within the Valley Life Sciences Building.
