Meet Maggie Tokuda-Hall, Author of Love in the Library

Join local author Maggie Tokuda-Hall as she shares her picture book, Love in the Library . Families are invited to experience this story based on the author's Japanese American grandparents' experience of finding hope and love while incarcerated in a prison camp. It is a sensitive introduction to the topic for children. This talk is part of the One Book, One Coast shared community reading event. Maggie Tokuda-Hall is also the author of Also An Octopus , illustrated by Benji Davies, The Mermaid, the Witch, and the Sea , and Squad , with more books forthcoming.
